SOC & UCR Research

Seeds of Change and the University of Costa Rica's Center for Cellular and Molecular Research form a collaborative research project. This collaboration will engage Seeds of Change high school students in leafcutter ant and butterfly antimicrobial research in Costa Rica. This UCR collaboration has already yielded a set of bacterial isolates that are slated for further research by the Chinese Academy of Sciences to evaluate their suitability as future medical compounds.
